The two domestic rivals will play in the FKF Premier League derby on Saturday at Nyayo Stadium, and we look at key players for K’Ogalo

Who could shine for K’Ogalo?
Here is a list of players who could have an impact for Gor Mahia against Ingwe this weekend.

Gad Mathews
The custodian will be key for K’Ogalo on Saturday especially in ensuring there is organisation at the back. The shot-stopper has to be alert to avoid conceding from long-range efforts. He has to ensure every defender is at the right place to avoid giving Leopards an easy time in attack.

Harun Shakava
The defender has never lost a Mashemeji Derby and will be aiming at extending that record. Shakava has to command his department effectively and the best thing will be to ensure the danger is cleared before reaching the goalkeeper. He will also be required to help in the attack, especially during set-pieces.

Ernest Wendo
Wendo is an experienced player who has what it takes to dictate the tempo and pull the strings from the midfield, but his main job will be to provide cover for the back four. It will be interesting to see how he will help in the build-up from the back after struggling in recent weeks.

Jules Ulimwengu
The attacker has always been consistent and when on the pitch, he shows determination and hunger to score. Ulimwengu is gifted with pace, dribbling skills, and great vision. He will definitely be a threat for the 13-time FKF Premier League champions.

Clifton Miheso
The winger will be aiming at getting his name on the scoresheet. He has a great left foot and his long-range efforts are always a threat. He will also be required to help in defending to ensure his team is not caught out of position especially in counter-attacks.
