Manchester United transfer target is already looking for houses

Manchester United ended their 2020-21 campaign on a low note, losing the UEFA Europa League final to Villarreal. A trophy would’ve represented the perfect ending to a season where they have shown tremendous overall progress. But, what is gone is gone. It is the time to look towards the future once again.

For this team to challenge for the Premier League title next season, some new signings are required. Positions that lack depth need reinforcements to be brought in. And that being said, right-back could be an area where the Red Devils look to add some competition for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Having played 4,709 minutes of football, according to stats from Transfermarkt, in all competitions in the 2020-21 season, Wan-Bissaka didn’t have a strong finish to the campaign and could certainly do with somebody who can replace him at times.
Over the last few weeks, Manchester United have been extensively linked with a summer move for Atletico Madrid’s Kieran Trippier. The 30-year-old has experience of playing in the Premier League and could be looking to return to England in the summer after winning the La Liga title with Diego Simeone’s side.

As reported by The Athletic (via Mirror), all parties are keen on a deal to go ahead. Trippier is believed to be already looking for houses in the area.

Previously having played for Burnley and Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League, the right-back came through Manchester City’s academy and won his first major trophy with Atletico Madrid last season.
Trippier could prove to be a solid signing for the Red Devils, especially considering the fact that he could be available for just £10 million. He could serve as a back-up to Wan-Bissaka, although there is a possibility that he could be the first-choice as well, as recent rumours have suggested that Solskjaer could try out playing Wan-Bissaka in a more central position in the near future.
